L.O.M.O

mwahahha it's all i could think of now.... i just found out what is lomo today. me and hsin went to 1 U today after class (out of hong soh-ness according to her :P) and stumbled into this shop called Wondermilk - strange as the name sounds the place actually sells pretty cool stuff. it's the shop located on one of the connecting floors between the old wing and the new wing of 1 U, just a small store but it's good enough to attract crap shoppers like us hahaha. needless to say we walk round and round the tiny store flipping and touching any cute lil things ... until we came upon the poster that says 'What the hell is Lomo'. being a nosy person as humans naturally are, we stopped to read the articles above the poster. my goSh after that we were like lil' kids looking at candy floss for the first time hahahaha i hope they salesperson didn't roll her eyes or something when we first saw the photos. now lemme tell you ....lomographic is like another branch of photography that originates from RUssia according to Hsin.. it's... ermm..okay this is pretty hard to explain because i myself understood only after looking at the photos available there. how should i put it ya? most lomo cameras have more than 1 lens, let's say like 4 lens so when you click the button to capture the photos rite there would be 4 shots at one go. i'm not sure about the delay time cuz we've yet to try it but instead of 1 image on 1 photo, that 1 photo would have 4 divided images.. geddiT? oh yeS!! now i know how to exlain already. lomographic photos are photos that are shoT with special effect, it differs from the normal manual automatic camera. some lomo cameras can take black and white shoTs while some can take photos wiTh the blue effects and such... i think haha.

anywayZ after getting obssessed about photos, we went to mph to look for more photos! sadly to say there isn't anything available on lomographics but we ended up looking through some great photography books. it's really amazing how a small gadget can capture the exact split-second moment filled with the emotions it creates right there on a piece of shot.... DIVINE.
